Achieving 3D Looks
To create 3D looks, our Click-on Cladding system can be used in conjunction with our aluminium Click-on Battens. The 3D Profiles are fixed using clips which aren’t fixed to mounting tracks, known as ‘direct fix clips’.
Boards and battens can be used in any combination to create the required texture and can use different finishes to create contrast and variation.
Finishes
Colours have been reproduced as accurately as possible, we recommend that you request product samples before making your final selection.
Please note: Lead times for product samples vary from 1-3 weeks for finishes depending on the colour selected. Colour swatches are available for urgent requests. Please contact us for more information.

Curved walls and ceilings
The Click-on Cladding system can be used to create both convex and concave curves using our specially designed mounting track. The track is provided to site flexible and fitted to a curved form on-site.
The minimum and maximum radius achievable is dictated by the profile of the board, with smaller boards being able to fit a tighter radius. See the table below for more information or contact us to discuss custom sequences and how they can fit your project.

Fire Compliance
Group Rating
Sculptform Aluminium achieves a Group 1 rating as per Section 9 (n) of AS 5637.1-2015, the determination of the group number is based on the AS/NZS 3837-1998 test, and is deemed valid in the cone calorimeter for the assignment of National Construction Code (NCC) group number.

Combustibility
Sculptform’s Aluminium is deemed non-combustible according to the test criteria specified in Clause 3.4 of AS 1530.1-1994.
According to the NCC, for a product to be deemed non-combustible the Spread of Flame Index needs to be 0.

Maintenance and cleaning
Aluminium is a relatively low maintenance solution for any application. Maintenance largely depends on the degree of exposure, location of the project, and the coating used. Generally, no cleaning is required; however, a typical schedule could include a visual inspection every 12 months to ensure there are no adverse environmental effects.
Surface dirt/dust, spider webs, bird droppings, rain spots and other debris, while not harmful can be unattractive and reduce the visual impact. A soft bristle broom or brush can be used to wipe the facade. Water can be used to aid the process but do not use harsh chemical cleaners as in some cases, coated layers can be removed.

Thermal Expansion
Our cladding boards are 100% aluminium, with the system designed to accommodate thermal expansion. This expansion occurs over the length of the board, with the following data being calculated as a guide. These examples of thermal expansion are based on cladding boards of 4m and 6m being installed in winter at 0°C and then heated to 50°C in summer.
